"Definition of ISLAM, IMAN and IHSAN'

*Umar bin Al-Khattab related:
One day when we were sitting with the Prophet (s.a.w), there appeared before us a man with very white clothing and very black hair, no mark of travel was visible on him, and none of us recognized him. Sitting down beside the Prophet (s.a.w), he said, "Tell me Muhammad about ISLAM." The Prophet (s.a.w) replied, "Islam means that you should bear witness that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah"s Messenger, that you should establish daily salah, pay zakah, fast during ramadhan and perform hajj if you are able." After the Prophet (s.a.w) finished, the man said, "You have spoken the truth." we were astonished at this audacity to question the Prophet (s.a.w) and then declared that he was spoken the truth. In spite of this, the stranger then said, "Tell me about Iman." So, the Prophet (s.a.w) said, "It means that you should believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messenger, the Last Day and the Predestination of both Good and Evil." The man repeated, " You have spoken the truth." and added. " Now tell me about Ihsan." Then the Prophet (s.a.w) replied, "It means the you should worship Allah as though you see Him. Even though you do not see Him, still He sees you." Upon completion of the Prophet"s explanation, the stranger left, and after a while the Prophet (s.a.w) asked me, " Do you know who that questioner was?" I replied, " Allah and His Messenger knows best," Then the Prophet (s.a.w) said, " He was Angel Jibreel who came to teach you your religion."
